As soon as I woke up left to get compost from a horse farm. This was my first time doing this, and I came equiped with a shovel (wrong tool). The man let me use his pitch fork, so I filled the truck. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be to move the compost into the truck. I took about 15 minutes.
Went to hardware store on the way back home to get my own pitch fork because I loved using it so much. Also bought a hook to hang it in the shed.
Mom came over to help garden and it started pouring down rain. We waited a bit to see if it would pass through and it never quite left. We went out in the drizzle to unload the manure. While trying to turn under the compost we relized this was going to be quite a daunting task. She completely gave up, so we just weeded around for a bit until the rain came back. We thought this job requires a tiller and she was going to see if her neighbor would lend her one. She never got back to me about it.
I really need my own tiller. Went to mantis site and found they have an electric version and it's supposed to be just as powerful as the gas 2 cycle engine. So I ordered it to try. You have a year to see if you like it. Just have to wait for it to arrive!!!!!!
