Put together my new wheel barrel in the morning. I got the smallest one because it was the cheapest one. Hopefully this decision doesn't turn into regret.
Went to drop off yard waste in the AM, but the recycling place was closed due to voting. Wish I'd thought about that before I loaded up the truck. Dropped yard waste up at Verdie's much later. He lives at the top of a mountain and has a cliff near his house.
While at recycling center, I helped some men carry boxes to the food bank.
Had planned on picking up compost, but couldn't because the truck was full of yard waste!
Garden Plans:
Make butterfly and hummingbird garden along the wash line pathway. Take out three ugly overgrown shrubs in that area to expand garden. The picture is a few years old and the bush is much more outgrown. This is the site of the new garden. To recreate privacy around the patio, use some sort of trellis with a climbing plant.
Here is an overview of the site. This picture is also a few years old. The recent ones I've taken didn't turn out.
Other Stuff:
Went to my Mom's to help Verdie fix hot water heater.
On the way up, stopped to vote.
Put bike together with Verdie.
Groomed Mom's cat.
Went shopping and bought fabric and scissors for cutting fabric.
