First Bloom of the Lillies

Out front in the lamp post garden the Lillies are starting to open up. Out here the sun is full all day. These Lilies always bloom before the ones in the back, even though they are the same variety. Out back, there is allot less sun to go around.

Started to clean out lamp post garden. Pulled out all the Mums that have overgrown the space to reveal the chicks and hens. Need to get the shovel out to dig out some trees that don't belong. They sure did take root.

The cactus's also are starting to bloom. While picking out some weeds, one of the spikes got me good. The needle was imbedded in the back of my fore finger. Luckily I didn't have an allergic reaction as usual.
