New garden made it through the storm

I was worried with all the rain we got that my new Hummingbird garden was going to be washed out. The reason for all the soil placement was to try and preserve the patio from sinking into the eroding hill. The newly placed soil didn't have a chance to settle. Luckily there was no washout and even all the plant labels are still intact. So far there are no sprouts. I don't expect there to be, but checked anyways.

The milk jug with seed in them are doing well. Almost all plants are sprouting. The zinnia's are about three inches tall already. Guess they will need to be transplanted really soon, so they don't get crowded.

Hi, thanks for the link to my blog! Sounds like you've got a nice garden started--post some pictures when you get your new camera. I just planted some beebalm myself, so I'll be interested to see how it does. It's supposed to spread easily, and I hear the hummingbirds love it!

Good Luck!
