Storms keep trying to scare me away from gardening.

It's not going to work, though. I went outside to work in the gardens and started planting some flowers that I bought last week. Put 12 flowers in the ground and the rain started in. So, I went inside for dinner and it stopped. After dinner I went back out and 5 minutes into more planting, a storm came. At this point I had to stop for the day. Don't worry, I'll be back.

I planted some flowers in the hummingbird garden around the plant markers where I'm waiting for flowers to come up.

There are some flowers starting to come up! The Gladiolis and Liatris Blazing Stars are peeking through, just as I thought all hope was gone on the mail order flowers. So far none of the other varieties are showing up. Also weeded the entire section.

Yay! Glad to see things coming up. I don't know what it is about mail order plants, but sometimes they take forever! Thanks for your suggestions for my butterfly garden!
