Guess who was trying to call Wayne and I on the phone.

Lacey was trying to dial our house to ask us herself if she could come over and play today. So, we had her over to play, and for dinner.

For the first time Lacey asked me if she could help make dinner. I have been trying to get her to work in the kitchen since she learned how to hold things. Cooking is a big thing in this house, and it's only natural for everyone to get involved. She was quite the helper, even wanting to wash dishes. I hope it is a permanent interest!

Later in the evening, we stopped out for ice cream. When we came home, my mom arrived soon after to pick Lacey up.
