Vacation is coming soon

This will be my husband and I's first vacation together away from home. Well, there was this one time a few years age that we stayed in Maine for a night, but that was hardly a vacation. Wayne was trying to pass the Jeopardy test to get on the show. The dog was along and most time for me was spent in the hotel room on the computer. We didn't even go anywhere for our honeymoon like most people do. This vacation will be real. The dog will not be coming (thank you!) and it will be for a week. I sure will miss my cat, Friday though. I hope he will not be too upset about me being gone. How do you explain to a cat that you are not deserting him?

In case you didn't read previous posts, we are planning to go to North Carolina in the Asheville area to camp. We are so excited to see the beautiful mountain area. We are planning on visiting the Biltmore Estate. The gardens look wonderful to walk through. I look forward to trying out some restaurants and fishing at the camp site. On the last day, we will be going to a place called South of the Border. It looks like a ridiculous place to visit, so we will see.
