Our Pet Chipmunk

There is a chipmunk that lives under our concrete steps out front. She comes out everyday to play on the steps coming down to the patio. Her favorite spot is this one block in the center, and the chipmunk will always stop there to sun bathe.

Today we startled each other as I turned the corner. I just froze, trying not to scare her. The chipmunk also froze, trying to be invisible to me. Luckily the camera was on me and immediately started to snap pictures. Each picture I tried to get one step closer, until she took off.
